Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the Circuit Design organization in San Diego, CA.

As technical lead of the test design in the circuit design team you will be responsible for test equipment development to support the circuit development for the program enterprise. You will lead a group of engineers in detailed electrical circuit design, circuit level analysis, and LabView Design. You will be responsible for qualification testing and associated test procedures and reports.

Basic Qualifications:

•             Bachelors in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 5 years engineering related experience, OR Master’s in STEM with 3 years of experience

•             Experience with design, development, and troubleshooting of NI LabView and NI Teststand Software

•             Experience with schematic capture and board layout using Altium Designer

•             Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

•             Active Secret DoD Clearance

•             Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on mixed circuit design

•             Experience with development and design of automated test equipment

•             Experience with OrCAD, Pspice, or LTspice for circuit simulation

•             Experience using FPGA, CPLD and micro-controllers.

•             Experience with IPC and Military standards, and Northrop Grumman Circuit Card Design specifications

•             Statement of work includes performing LabView design, detailed electrical circuit design, circuit level analysis, support qualification testing, preparing of test procedures and reports, and supporting hardware production manufacturing.

Salary Range: $101,400 USD - $152,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
