Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals at our Linthicum/Baltimore, MD campus.

As part of Northrop Grumman's Electronic Warfare Systems Engineering organization, the qualified candidate will have the opportunity to develop solutions for our customer’s most difficult technical challenges. This team is responsible for supporting the development of highly adaptive, software defined, hardware enabled systems across a variety of domains. Candidates must be self-motivated systems thinkers that can work as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.

This position will allow for participation throughout the systems engineering process, including working on the following tasks:

• Algorithm development

• Performance analysis

• Data analysis

• Support of firmware, software and hardware integration and test

Basic Qualifications:

• Active clearance or ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance prior to starting

• Ability to obtain SAP prior to starting

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science with 2 years of related experience or 0 years related experience with a Master's Degree

• Experience with MATLAB or equivalent software tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with digital signal processing

• Previous experience with Radar waveforms, Electronic Support (ES), and/or Electronic Attack (EA)

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Salary Range: $81,000 USD - $121,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
