Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Electrical Engineers and Electrical Engineers. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Linthicum, MD. This position will be in the Pathways rotational program where there will be three rotation opportunities within engineering.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector Payload and Ground Systems Team.

Basic Qualifications: 

This requisition may be filled at either a level 1 or a level 2.  Basic qualifications for an Associate Electrical Engineer (level 1) is a Bachelor’s Degree. Basic qualifications for an Electrical Engineer (level 2) is a Master’s Degree.

A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD) from an accredited institution
  • Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related STEM major
  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
  • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70 out of 4.0 or higher

Salary Range:

Associate Electrical Engineer: $65,000 - $97,600

Electrical Engineer: $78,600 - $118,000

Salary Range 2: $78,600 USD - $118,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
