Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire an Associate Electrical Engineer (level 1) or an Electrical Engineer (level 2). This position will be an eCAD & CPLM SME Support Engineer. This position is located in Roy, UT or Huntsville, AL and supports the Sentinel program.

What You'll Get to Do:
Specific duties to include, but are not limited to the following:
Candidate will collaborate with electrical, mechanical, components, materials, manufacturing, and other engineering disciplines to support the design of weapon systems and equipment under an overarching Systems Engineering and full lifecycle management framework.
Candidate will directly support the eCAD Product Owner and provide technical support for the development, testing, and implementation of the Siemens Capital, and Xpedition electrical engineering tools.
Perform tool testing.
Assist with creating and maintaining product documentation.
Support the electrical design tool users and assist with configuring new processes when required.
Use technical principles, theories and concepts and apply them to develop recommended solutions to technical problems.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
Basic Qualifications:
Level 1: Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 1+ years of related experience, or a Master's Degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related experience.
Level 2: Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) and 2 years of relevant experience with eCAD or similar tool suites working in an Engineering or Technical position, or 0 years with Masters
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period as determined by the company to meet its business need
Familiarity with Siemens Xpedition and/or Capital eCAD tools
Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering eCAD tools such as Cameo
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in STEM related discipline
Experience with the following tools: CAMEO, DOORS, Confluence, and JIRA
Understands Support Equipment and uses, i.e., Peculiar (PSE) and Common (CSE) Support Equipment
Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering
Working knowledge/training in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Tools (Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody or similar)
