Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking to add a Logistics Systems Engineering Manager 2 to our team of highly qualified and diverse individuals. This position will be located in Roy, Utah or Huntsville, AL

What you will get to do:

• Responsible for planning and tasking the Logistics Modeling, Simulation, and Analysis team.
• Primary interface with both the government customers as well other IPTs.  
• Responsible for the cost analysis for the system, availability for the system, sub systems, and components, and reliability analysis
• Main interface with the government and cross IPT counter parts to ensure collaboration in addition to mentoring a small team of engineers

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM with 6 years of experience; 4 years with a Master’s degree
• Active Secret Clearance or higher investigated within the past 6 years
• 1 year of experience with large program logistics including; Availability, Cost, Reliability/Reliability Centered maintenance (RCM)
• 1 year of experience with Integrated Master Schedule and Cost Account Management  
• 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule
• U.S. Citizenship required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with Mathematical Modeling, Statistics, and/or Optimization
• Development and/or application of analytic methodologies to predict or calculate metrics
• Software scripting experience to automate analytics (python, ruby, C++, VBA, etc.)
• Experience on a Model Based Systems Engineering activity / program
• Experience with Systems Engineering Requirement definition and verification planning
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience with basic systems engineering toolset and languages (e.g. DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, UML, SysML)
• Experience with Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Testability requirements and analysis
• familiarity with Reliasoft,
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)

This position reports to Roy, UT, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Huntsville, AL, AL, USA.

Salary Range: $127,700 USD - $191,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
