What You’ll Get To Do:

The selected candidate, as part of the Analysis Group within the Infrastructure and Deployment team, will be primarily responsible for the Analysis of the GBSD Facilities ability to delay unauthorized attempts to gain access (break-in).  As “Delay Analysis Lead” this role will perform system level delay analysis of the Launch Facility, and lower-level validation analysis of the subsystem delay components as required.  The role will be expected to coordinate with other teams performing testing and incorporate the test data collected.  As delay is a critical requirement to the success of the GBSD system, the analysis will have high level visibility.  As a part of the analysis team as a whole, the selected candidate will also have the responsibility and opportunity to peer-review other analysis work.

•When finite element models (FEMs) are appropriate, critical thinking skills will be required to develop a FEM to capture appropriate behavior of complex non-linear structures.

•Due to the complex nature of the systems analyzed, the position requires working closely with multiple engineering disciplines including but not limited to Civil Design, System Engineering, and Mechanical Design to achieve program objectives in a timely manner.
