Principal Engineer Mission Assurance – Parts, Materials, and Processes Requirement Compliance

Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product. Writes requirements documents and is responsible for flow-down through the supply chain and compliance verification. Collaborates with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place. Interfaces with the customer regularly. Creates meeting agendas, maintains meeting minutes, and tracks data package submittals and action items. Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of products and production equipment. Audits quality systems and engineering documentation for deficiency identification and correction. Ensures that corrective measures meet acceptable reliability standards and that documentation is compliant with requirements. Audits supplier product and processes to internal and Northrop Grumman customer requirements. Works with engineering to ensure product delivered is compliant with requirements.  May specialize in the areas of design, parts, materials, processes, incoming material testing, production control, product evaluation and reliability, and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality. Business travel will be required. A background in materials science or component engineering is preferred.

Basic Qualifications<:
5 years minimum with a Bachelor of Science degree, 3 years with a Masters

Salary Range: $90,400 USD - $135,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
