Responsibilities include:

• Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product  
• Collaborates with cross-functional groups to ensure quality standards are in place  
• Performs statistical analysis to determine the responsibility for, products or materials that do not meet required standards and specifications  
• Audits quality systems for deficiency identification and correction
• Ensures that contract requirements are met and that documentation is compliant with requirements
• May specialize in the areas of production control, product evaluation and reliability, inventory control and/or research and development as they apply to product or process quality
• May be certified in lean and six-sigma quality engineering methodologies
• May have material review board experience
• May have first article inspection experience
• May have statistical process control experience

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) field and Nine (9) years of experience in manufacturing, design, or quality engineering or Master's degree in STEM and Seven (7) years of experience in manufacturing, design, or quality engineering
• Experience in Quality Management Systems
• Root cause and corrective action experience
• Experience with trend data development and analysis
• Must have active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access prior to starting

Preferred Qualifications: 

• DoD/Defense Contractor Industry experience (e.g. Aerospace/ Space /Defense/Mission)
• 9+ years of expertise in Quality Assurance
• First Article Inspection experience
• Statistical Process Control experience
• Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis experience
• Material review board experience
• Contract compliance and auditing experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Tool suite (i.e.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
• ASQ / CQE Certification
• Lean / Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly to all levels of leadership and customers
• Current and active DoD Secret clearance within the last 5 years

Salary Range: $117,700 USD - $176,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
