The position will support various programs from the Space and Strategic Programs Operating Unit of the Navigation and Cockpit Systems Business Unit.

Assist as needed, Program Managers (PMs) with all Mission Assurance and Quality requirements.  Assist with the development and maintenance of departmental metrics and preparation and execution of the Operations Preventive and Corrective Action Board (PCAB).  Support the corrective action process, both internal and external corrective actions, to ensure identification of root cause and proper implementation of corrective actions and reach back and reach across.  Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of program quality plan and the site’s overall quality plan.  Assign program tasks to the functional area Mission Assurance (MA) and Quality Engineers (QEs).  Provide guidance and expertise to supporting professionals of MA and QEs.  Assist with the determination of resources to ensure programmatic and departmental success.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80.  The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.  This is an on-site position.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 6 years of experience with increasing responsibility, 4 years with a Master’s Degree.  An additional 4 years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree. Experience to include a broad scope between engineering, quality, and manufacturing.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active Secret Clearance.
  • At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Experience in System Engineering
  • Experience with supervising or executing quality controls over projects
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously.



Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
