Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Nuclear Surety Manager 3.  This position will be located in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel (GBSD) program.  This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.  

Nuclear Surety Manager join our Mission Defense Team (MDT) as the Deputy of the Nuclear Surety sub-IPT. This individual will be responsible for orchestrating team performance to an established baseline, on-time delivery of contractual documents, leadership and development of engineering managers, and the overall nuclear certification health on the sentinel program. Duties include but are not limited to:

What You’ll Get To Do:   

• Cultivating customer relationships and intimacy to drive discussion and decisions on Nuclear Safety
• Leading a team of Systems Engineering Managers
• Managing Internal Work Orders (IWO) and subcontractors
• Establishing a program organization that effectively addresses Nuclear Safety Requirements and incorporates the necessary internal and external sub-organizations
• Measuring and reporting of performance
• Delivering presentations to customers, executives management and other program stakeholders

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.    

  

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:  

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years’ experience (6 with a masters) in Project Management, Program Management, or STEM role.
• 3 years of formal management experience to include performance reviews for direct reports
• 4 years of leadership experience in functional or program role
• Experience in Earned Value Management
• Active Secret Clearance investigated within the last 5 years
• US Citizenship with the ability to obtain Special Access Program clearance

  

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:  

• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks and projects within critical deadlines
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Active GBSD SAP Clearance
• Experience with Agile Development
• Demonstrated ability to build and foster effective relationships with others
• Experience working with the Nuclear Surety Certification process
• ICBM Experience

Salary Range: $138,400 USD - $207,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
