We have an opening for either a Principal Software Integration and Test Engineer or a Senior Principal Software Integration and Test Engineer to join our talented, diverse team in Redondo Beach, CA.

What you’ll get to do?

As a test engineer on this team, you will have the opportunity to test software that is part of a large, complex code base to ensure its capabilities, documented in requirements, are working as the customer expects. You will take the testing through the full life-cycle to include writing test procedures, preparing for peer reviews, performing dry runs and preparing for customer milestones. You will have the privilege of direct customer interface as you prepare for and perform test readiness reviews and requirements sell-off. You will have a direct role in ensuring delivery of a quality product and customer satisfaction. The environment is Java Eclipse on Linux; creating and editing Perl scripts is necessary to perform the test runs. The future of this test organization includes a transition to a web-based environment using Python, using agile principles and DevOps automated testing methodologies.

Basic Qualifications for a Principal Software Integration and Test Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 5 years of related experience; Master's degree in STEM with 3 years of related experience; PhD
• Active SCI or TS with the ability to obtain SCI
• Proficiency in one or more of the following: C++, Java, C, C#, .Net
• Agile methodologies and techniques, continuous integration

Basic Qualifications for a Senior Principal Software Integration and Test Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 9 years of related experience; Master's degree in STEM with 7 years of related experience; PhD with 4 years of related experience
• Active SCI or TS with the ability to obtain SCI
• Proficiency in one or more of the following: C++, Java, C, C#, .Net
• Agile methodologies and techniques, continuous integration

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with Agile development

Salary Range: $104,600 USD - $157,000 USD

Salary Range 2: $129,700 USD - $194,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
