We are seeking to fill either a Principal DevOps Engineer or Senior Principal DevOps Engineer to join our talented, diverse team. This position is located in Redondo Beach, CA, and requires being onsite.
This position is contingent upon program award and/or customer funding.
What you’ll get to do?
The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing and automating creative solutions. Key areas of responsibly include system analysis, design, develop, build, test, implement, and maintain various systems to meet functional objectives of the business. We cover a wide variety of technologies including Jenkins, Fortify, Ansible, Atlassian suite, TeamForge, ASP, Visual Build, Docker, Kubernetes and many more. Candidate will Implement provisioning and deployment techniques via packaging, containerizing or Cloud distribution. Functions with agile principles to execute efficiently in an environment of continuous feedback. Ensures implementation of Software Configuration Management (SCM), code quality, and code coverage with automated testing for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Basic Qualifications:
- Principal DevOps Eng: 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD
- Senior Principal DevOps Eng: 8 Years with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD
- Active Secret Clearance at the time of application
- Security+ Certification
- Experience with Kubernetes, containers
- Experience with Linux and Ansible
- Experience with Jira, Jenkins and Git/Version Control Software
- Ability to express technical information clearly at different organizational levels
- Familiarity with API Security and Container Security
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience creating, developing, and implementing solutions to address requirements
- Ability to identify needs for automation, designing and implementing of CICD solutions
- Experience working with Docker containers
- Experience with Agile development
- Experience with developing microservices
- Excellent technical writing and team building skills
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
