2Is Solutions at Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Engineer (Software). This position will be within our Defense Systems Sector located in Walpole, MA. The Software Engineer will contribute code for web services and APIs for logistics and sustainment systems. The candidate must have a strong interest in creating software, and in implementing and maintaining complex systems.

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

· Writing, testing, and debugging APIs, web sites, and services. Implementing business logic and data layers.

· Designing and implementing data representations, interfacing with SQL and NoSQL databases.

· Writing, testing, and debugging Common Lisp code.

· Following an established process for timely delivery of software. Participating in process improvement initiatives.

· Maintaining libraries in C# and Java as needed

· Actively participating in design and code reviews

· Collaborating with stakeholders from a variety of functional roles to deliver high quality software products

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or similar with 5 years exp; 3 years exp with Masters; 0 years with PhD

· Experience developing APIs and web services

· Experience with Atlassian tools

· Experience with Windows development

· Experience with Agile Processes

This position reports to Walpole, MA, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Oklahoma City, OK, OK, USA.


Salary Range: $104,600 USD - $157,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
