Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer/ Systems Engineer located in Chandler, AZ.

This position is ideal for a candidate that is comfortable working in a very dynamic and agile environment where tasks vary weekly or even daily.  The candidate is responsible for design review execution support efforts including, but not limited to: interfacing with customers, stakeholders, project leads, and program management; tracking and managing comments and action items from the various design review efforts; tracking and managing the delivery of engineering documentation through the peer review and release system; and attending and preparing materials to support system engineers during design review activities.  Strong ownership and communication skills are necessary.  Past experience with design review efforts is preferred but not required.

Basic Qualifications for an Associate Systems Engineer:

- Bachelor of Science degree (STEM) with 0 years of experience

- Ability to obtain a Security clearance (SECRET or higher) which requires US Citizenship

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Ability to work in a fluid position where tasking can change from day to day, depending on the need of the program.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to solve problems and ask for information

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task

- Ability to travel (approximately 10%) may be required

Basic Qualifications for a Systems Engineer:

- Bachelor of Science degree (STEM) plus 2 years of experience; Master's degree plus 0 years of experience

- Ability to obtain a Security clearance (SECRET or higher) which requires US Citizenship

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Ability to work in a fluid position where tasking can change from day to day, depending on the need of the program.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to solve problems and ask for information

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multi-task

- Ability to travel (approximately 10%) may be required

Preferred Qualifications:

- Past experience with design review efforts is preferred but not required

- Experience with requirements management software (DOORS preferred)

- Familiarity with MBSE and CAMEO

- Strong ownership of problems and ability to offer and implement solutions

- Desire to actively work toward process improvement and efficiency


Salary Range: $60,600 USD - $91,000 USD
Salary Range 2: $73,400 USD - $110,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
