We are looking for Space Systems Engineers who want to solve interesting, complex problems, which protect our nation. Your talents and passion are most important to us. We are recruiting for junior, mid-level, and senior engineers with a background in Space engineering or space systems.

The Northrop Grumman Tactical Space Division is a strategic partner specializing in commercial and classified partnerships with the design, delivery, operation and sustainment of satellites and human spacecraft. Our programs include technical roles at the mission, segment, subsystem, and component levels. Our work also spans the entire program life cycle from early concept studies, design development, system integration/test, launch and early ops, mission ops/sustainment, and system disposal. Recognized as an industry leader, we also develop highly specialized space and satellite components.

Basic Qualifications:

These positions may be filled at a level 2 or 3 based on the experience, skills and abilities of the individual.

Systems Engineer 2:
BS Degree in as STEM related field and 2 years of experience, Masters Degree & 0 years of experience

Principal Systems Engineer 3:

  • BS Degree in as STEM related field and 5 years of experience, Masters Degree & 3 years of experience

Additional required qualifications include:

  • Must have U.S. Citizenship with current or active Top Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain SCI level access
  • Must have entry level knowledge of systems engineering principles such as, but not limited to: requirements, systems analysis and systems thinking, interface management, system integration, project management, risk analysis, high level systems testing, cost estimation, and/or customer interface

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current or Active Top Secret/SCI level clearance
  • Experience supporting Space Satellite Systems

Salary Range: $73,400 USD - $110,000 USD
Salary Range 2: $90,400 USD - $135,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
