The Palmdale Lab Operations, Engineering and Test Department is looking for a passionate and dedicated Integration and Test Engineer 4 to join our Palmdale, CA team.  


Our Integration and Test team works directly with Vendors, Responsible Engineer (RE) and Software Developers to integrate subsystems into a larger family of systems.  As the integration and test engineer, you’ll be responsible for integrating systems, writing detailed test procedures, performing dry runs and running certification tests with quality assurance.  This statement of work is performed within our numerous Palmdale labs but might require a hand full of visit to other locations throughout the year.  Are you ready for a new challenge and interested in supporting the future of technology at Northrop Grumman?  If yes, then this position is for you.

This position will require occasional overtime and cross-training efforts.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Principal System Test Engineer: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; or 0 years of relevant experience with a PHD.

  • Sr Principal System Test Engineer: Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 7 years with Master's degree; 2 years of relevant experience with a PHD.

  • Active In-Scope (reviewed in the last 6 years) Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain program access.

  • Experience creating, editing, and executing test procedures.

  • Experience integrating systems.

  • Experience in Flight Test or Lab Test.

  • Running certification tests with quality assurance.

  • Willing to work 2nd shift


Salary Range: $95,000 USD - $142,400 USD
Salary Range 2: $117,700 USD - $176,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
