Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a successful candidate to fill an experienced Sr Principal Field Service Representative within the Mission Systems IPT to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The position is located in Palmdale, CA with responsibilities including (but not limited to) integrating and testing software/hardware systems in complex IT systems. The selected candidate will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment working closely with other engineers and technicians in a lab-like environment.  The candidate will be supporting a program where application of extensive technical expertise will be required to support a developing system. This position requires up to 10% travel

Basic Qualifications:  Sr. Principal Electronics Engineer (T4)
• 5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
• An active in-scope DoD Top Secret Clearance and the ability to obtain Special Program Access.
• Demonstrated experience with Windows and Unix operating systems
• Demonstrated experience with VmWare
• Security+ Certificate for administrators
• This position requires up to 10% travel

Preferred Qualifications:
• Special Program Access
•Scripting Experience in Python, Bash and Powershell
• Ability to develop and maintain Microsoft Group Policies
• Familiarity with Solaris 10 and 11, Oracle OEM, or Windows operating systems
• Familiarity Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory
• Experience in authoring and maintaining technical installation, configuration, and update proce dures

Salary Range: $129,700 USD - $194,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
