The Integration Support Group (ISG) has an immediate opening for a Networks Team Sub-Project Manager (SPM) to lead our qualified, diverse team. We are seeking a team member who wants to solve interesting, complex problems to help protect our nation. We are a trusted mission payload and ground system provider with extensive experience providing end-to-end mission solutions from concept through operations and support. The team you will support is located at our Space Park campus in Redondo Beach, CA 100% of the work is required on-site.

The Networks team SPM commits the ISG to scope, cost, and deliverables (schedule).  The SPM will supervise/manage a team of about 15 Information Assurance and Network Engineers performing product identification, procurements, network builds, network administration, the RMF process, and maintaining equipment through its life cycle.  The SPM sets task prioritization, works within program schedules, manages labor budget and surge requests across multiple projects and IRADs (GES OU/INS BU BD efforts) within the Space Park campus.  The list of multiple contracts of record include AMP, Arrowhead, and COAST II.  The SPM is an ISG staffing lead who supports multi-discipline IPTs writing requisitions, performing interviews, and negotiating employee transitions.  The SPM will also interface with customers ( cyber controls and IA audits), vendors (Cisco, HP, RedHat) and contractor staffing agencies (Insight Global, TEKsystems) as well as interfacing with other ISG SPMs, the ISG Deputy APM, and the ISG APM with programmatic execution. Works on proposals and provides infrastructure and network configuration design, Bill of Materials (BOM) creation, and Task Description/Basis of Estimate (TD/BOE) write ups.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain and retain an SCI security clearance
  • 9 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 7 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree; 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD; 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience leading a team of network engineers working with Cisco devices
  • Experience working in an IT service organization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Security+ security certification
  • Degree in a STEM discipline
  • Cisco certification
  • 5 or more years of previous management experience as a SPM, Deputy SPM or Technical Lead
  • Experience in network engineering in operational environments
  • Demonstrated Power Point chart development and briefing experience
  • Active SCI clearance with previously adjudicated counter intelligence (CI) polygraph

Salary Range: $147,800 USD - $221,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
