The selected candidate will serve as a Space Systems Integration & Test (SSI&T) Section Manager. The SSI&T Section Manager role a dual-hat Engineering Manager role where the candidate will be responsible for both section management (up to 20% of time) and existing program responsibilities (80% or more of time). Along with reporting into a program, the Section Manager is also a member of the Space Systems Engineering Directorate Functional Management Organization.  The SSI&T Section Manager shall be the Functional Management Point of Contact for an assigned section of employees of the SSI&T Department in the Mission Engineering & Operations (MEO) Center and will be involved in supporting and implement activities supporting directorate/department initiatives (including Digital Transformation activities) for the Space Systems Engineering initiatives. This position reports directly to the SSI&T Department Manager and will manage a section on the order of 15 people. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Science degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 7+ years of engineering experience OR Master's Science degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline with 5+ years of engineering experience

- Active DoD Top Secret and/or SCI clearance required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior Assignment manager and/or performance management experience 

- Excellent communication, mentoring, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all involved employees

- Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering and/or Space Systems Programs

Salary Range: $147,800.00 - $221,800.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
