The Advanced Mission Programs (AMP) Ground Element (GE) team has an immediate need for a P093 Execution Lead.  The Execution lead will act as a deputy program manager for P093 for the Ground Element IPT.  Candidate must possess excellent leadership, interpersonal communication and presentation skills and will work closely with the GE Director and Deputy Director, as well as the other APM’s.  This position requires coordination and interfacing with external customers and, in some cases, site personnel.  Candidate must work in a dynamic team environment and have the ability to complete tasks with minimal direction and oversight.  The ability to lead by influence is important as cost/schedule management is performed by the APM’s for each area. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Current SCI access or current DoD Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access prior to start date
  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 9 years of relevant work experience; Master's Degree in STEM with 7 years of relevant work experience; PhD in STEM with 4 years of relevant work experience; an additional 4 years of experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience leading a team of engineers using defined processes through delivery of product
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Space Domain Experience
  • Experience working with internal and external customers
  • Experience in cost/schedule management and proposals
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Understanding of Agile development and DevOps
  • Experience in baselining of new scope
  • Experience in integration and test activities
  • Excellent presentation skills

Salary Range: $176,100 USD - $264,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
