Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Sector, Networked Information Solutions (NIS) Division, Growth and Mission Solutions is seeking a Manager 1/2, Capability Integration. In this exciting and challenging role, the selected individual will connect with customers through Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs), drive capability integration through laboratory and operational demonstrations, and help define product line architectures. The selected candidate must be able to manage a team effectively and engage with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.

Acceptable locations for this role are: Northern Virginia, Baltimore, MD, and San Diego, CA

Job Description

Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Serve as the focal point for CRADA management and engagement with sponsors
  • Work with other CRADA managers across the company to ensure that CRADA products are analyzed and disseminated
  • Ensure that CRADA products are made available to support mission analysis and product development, providing additional context or detail as needed
  • Manage relevant mission or product line architecture projects in support of division growth objectives
  • Define, plan, and execute key laboratory and operational tests; with emphasis on integrated division capabilities for mission execution
  • Shape converged product line architectures through analysis, demonstrations, and customer engagament
  • Leverage technical, analytical, and operational expertise from across the division in pursuit of impactful growth opportunities
  • Work with cross-functional and mission thread teams across the company to deliver impactful results
  • Support customer engagements with direct participation, briefing materials, and written products
  • Communicate vision, process, and results effectively to key internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications for Level 1:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of work experience or Master’s Degree and 3+ years
  • Experience with CRADAs or trusted agent role at FFRDC/UARC
  • Experience with project management and track record of success
  • Experience with mission analysis
  • U.S. Citizen with active TS clearance

Basic Qualifications for Level 2:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 9+ years of work experience or Master’s Degree and 7+ years
  • Experience with CRADAs or trusted agent role at FFRDC/UARC
  • Experience with project management and track record of success
  • Experience with mission analysis
  • U.S. Citizen with active TS clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with analytical tools such as CAMEO, AFSIM, STK, and MATLAB
  • Experience with digital collaboration tools including Confluence and Jira
  • Developmental or operational test experience

This position reports to San Diego, CA, USA, however, you are able to work from any of the additional 2 locations listed above.


Salary Range: $117,600 USD - $184,800 USD
Salary Range 2: $141,100 USD - $221,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
