Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Senior Principal Systemes Engineer IFC to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Systems Engineering organization. The position is located in San Diego Ca.
The selected candidate will assume an IFC lead role as part of the Systems Engineering Integration and Test (SEIT) team on the RQ-4 Enterprise. As part of day-to-day operations, the selected candidate will interface with various engineering functions within Northrop Grumman.
Essential Functions:
• Work with IPTs to develop and execute program IFC plans and metrics
• Manage project execution rhythm, coordination, and reporting activities
• Technical liaison to the cross-functional team

Basic Qualifications:
• BS degree in a STEM discipline with 8 years engineering experience; MS degree in STEM discipline with 6 years engineering experience; PhD degree in a STEM discipline with 4 years of engineering experience
• An active DoD Secret Clearance
• Familiarity with JIRA software tool (and/or similar) for issue tracking and resolution
• Experience in full lifecycle of Systems Engineering, including requirements decomposition, test planning, requirements verification and requirements management
• Ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Integrated Functional Capability (IFC) process
• Strong leadership, excellent communication, and strong presentation skills
• Familiarity and understanding of system requirements (validation and verification) and interface control documents (ICDs), and statements of work (SOW)
• Experience with USAF programs
• Experience with International or FMS customers
• Experience with NATO programs
• Experience supporting Aircraft Systems
