We are Northrop Grumman Space Systems focused on work in the Launch and Missile Defense Systems area – Seeking a Systems Engineer/Principal Systems Engineer based out of either Boulder, CO or Colorado Springs, CO.

   

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

∙ Conducts performance analysis efforts of a missile tracking and prediction system
∙ Collaboratively and independently develop analysis approach for a variety of scenarios
∙ Work in an Agile environment  
∙ Ensure the timely resolution of system defects
∙ Analysis tool development (Python & Matlab) ∙ Be a productive member of the analysis team

This requisition may be filled as either a SystemsEngineer (Level 2) or a Principal Systems Engineer (Level 3)

Basic Qualifications for a Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer:

Basic Qualifications

Must have a Secret clearance and ability to maintain a Top Secret with SCI eligibility

Familiarity with Analysis and Systems Engineering

Level 2 - Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of related experience; 0 years of related experience with a Masters or PhD; 6+ years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree 

Level 3 - Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience; 3 years of related experience with a Masters or PhD; 9+ years of related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree 

Preferred Qualifications

∙ Experience with performance analysis, requirements verification, simulation, validation, and algorithms

∙ Familiarity with the Missile Defense System
∙ Familiarity with Overhead Persistent Infrared

∙ Linux experience
∙ Python or Matlab experience

∙ Ability to travel on occasion to Northrop Grumman and customer locations


 


Salary Range: $85,000 USD - $127,400 USD
Salary Range 2: $104,600 USD - $157,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
