Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks to fill a Manager Level 2 Systems Engineering, Integration & Test (SEIT) Engineering position in the Engineering function for our Boulder, Colorado location. This is a dual role encompassing both functional management and technical performance within a program.

Demonstrated abilities to build diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement, including mentoring and coaching, are a must. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required and the ideal candidate will have demonstrated success collaborating and leading technical teams.

Responsibilities Include:

- Technical contributor or manager in a program role as part of the Boulder Engineering management team.

- Functional oversight for a team of systems engineers of varied disciplines.

- Staffing and workload forecasting; employee inclusion, engagement, mentoring and career development; employee training and identification and training of skills required to execute on programs.

- Recruiting, sourcing, onboarding, performance management and contract maintenance for contractors working in the business area as required.

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 9 years related experience; 7 years of related experience with a Masters; 4 years of related experience with a PhD.

- Proven demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- High proficiency in problem solving.

- Active Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other technical discipline

- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance

- Experienced in all aspects of the engineering development lifecycle.

- Effective communication and presentation skills.

Salary Range: $147,800 USD - $221,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
