Northrop Grumman is seeking a Test Engineering Manager 2. This position will be located in Colorado Springs, CO and will support the Sentinel program.
This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
Synthesize customer contractual needs and requirements into lab architecture solutions that acknowledges technical, schedule and cost constraints
Develop and direct preparation and execution of lab stand-up, lab design and integration activities to support comprehensive tests and schedules for completing systems
Coordinating integration and testing activities working in a dynamic people-focused environment
Direct oversight of integration and lab operations teams
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure lab requirements are aligned with product / test team needs
Responsible for development of integration plans / schedules, lab operations budgets, lab process compliance and integration of hardware / software units

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree; 4 years with a Masters; 4 additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
At least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
At least 1 year demonstrated experience in lab operations and test planning or test execution.
Experience integrating hardware and software components in a lab / ground test environment.
Experience with lab electrical / network designs.
Ability to meet DoD 8570 certification requirements (e.g., Security+ certification, CISSP) within 6 months.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field.
Prior management experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of systems engineering, test and lab operations principles and processes.
Demonstrated ability working with cross-functional teams and customers.
Experience executing in an AGILE environment.
Knowledge of Model Based System Engineering with an understanding of DODAF and SysML.
Experience in Test automation (development and execution).
Demonstrated knowledge and use of instrumentation and data acquisition type systems.
Active CISSP DoD 8570 IAM Level III security certification.
