Responsibilities:

  • They will be responsible for insuring product quality by creating production test equipment for military/aerospace products. Includes programming, debugging, and deploying into production equipment that adjust, calibrates and certifies device specifications.

  • Maintain and update all test equipment supporting board level and functional testers.

  • Understand the functionality of several products to reduce or suggest additional tests.

  • Development and the modification of In-Circuit programs on Keysight 3070 systems

  • Assist on fixture fabrication / ordering and manage suppliers.

  • Innovate and optimize test improvements to achieve maximum throughput and utilization of In-Circuit work center.

  • Lead DFT on all product lines creating design rules and requirements and work closely with the PWB and electrical design teams.

  • Will consider a hybrid teleworking arrangement for this position.

Principal Test Engineer Required Skills:

  • Our position requires 9 years of experience building and maintaining automated test equipment.  Will consider a Bachelors degree and 5 years of experience and Masters degree and 3 years of experience.

  • 8+ year of experience on ICT (Keysight 3070)

  • Must be US citizen.

  • Must be able to acquire a Secret clearance.

  • Experience programing to interact with instruments.

  • Functional testing experience using the Keysight 3070 system.

  • Experience with In-system programming and JTAG boundary scan technology.

  • Experience with CAD data processing.

  • Knowledge in Electrical and Functional Testers with: Interfaces, Pneumatic Systems, Communication protocols, PXI and GPIB instruments test platforms.

  • Experience with Six Sigma tools (i.e. DOE, R&R, MSE, DFSS).

  • Ability to manage multiple & concurrent tasks while maintaining a sense of urgency.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, team working, self-motivation, self-driven.

Preferred Skills:

  • Electronic Engineer or Computer Engineer oriented to hardware.

  • Digital and Analog Electronics experience with circuit analysis skills.

  • Solid communications skills and ability to clearly establish verbal communication including remote audiences.

Sr. Principal Test Engineer Required Skills:

  • Our position requires 13 years of experience building and maintaining automated test equipment.  Will consider a Bachelors degree and 9 years of experience and Masters degree and 7 years of experience.

  • 8+ year of experience on ICT (Keysight 3070)

  • Must be US citizen.

  • Must be able to acquire a Secret clearance.

  • Experience programing to interact with instruments.

  • Functional testing experience using the Keysight 3070 system.

Salary Range: $90,600 USD - $136,000 USD
Salary Range 2: $112,300 USD - $169,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
