Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Administrator Sr /Engineer and is preparing to partner with the 705 Combat Training Squadron (CTS) Infrastructure, Development and Engineering (IDE) program to develop and maintain simulation software (SW) and hardware (HW) solutions, build, and maintain network infrastructure, design, and develop simulation SW applications, and evolve and conduct Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) activities for the 705 CTS and Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC).

In the context of the 705 CTS IDE, this position requires the advanced ability to administer, configure and troubleshoot multiple operating systems such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Microsoft file servers, Microsoft Active Directory, Net App file servers, Dell Avamar backup appliances and multiple Site-specific applications.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline with at least 5 years of systems management, administration, and connectivity experience.  -OR-  15 years of systems management, administration, engineering, and troubleshooting experience.  -AND-  Ability to provide support and manage systems in a complex training environment  Technical knowledge that supports the real-time resolution of complex battlespace problems.  Experience with both Windows and Linux environments Virtualization (VMware private cloud) experience highly desirable NetApp experience. Windows Active Directory skills to include the following:
• DNS
• DHCP
• Group Policy
• Domain Services
• Domain Users and Group accounts
The ability to diagnose and fix replication problems
Experience with WSUS servers, patching client computers and familiarity with Windows Deployment Services (WDS). The Senior Network Manager shall maintain certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M continuing education program (CPE) through the Period of Performance of the contract. Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II or III certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or CompTIA Security+ certification.

Salary Range: $101,600 USD - $152,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
