Northrop Grumman is preparing to partner with the 705 Combat Training Squadron (CTS) Infrastructure, Development and Engineering (IDE) program to develop and maintain simulation software (SW) and hardware (HW) solutions, build, and maintain network infrastructure, design, and develop simulation SW applications, and evolve and conduct Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) activities for the 705 CTS and Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC).

In the context of the 705 CTS IDE, this position designs and maintains virtual storage clusters and physical-to-virtual conversion of servers.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related discipline with at least 12- years of technical experience integrating, securing, and managing systems in large, distributed Enterprise environments. -AND- Shall have the following expertise:

- TOP SECRET CLEARANCE
− Demonstrated experience successfully transforming at least one physical data center to an Infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) onprem capability offering virtualized networking, server, and storage resources.
− Four plus (4+) years of demonstrated experience working with customers to analyze business requirements, develop system(s) concept of operations, and functional requirements, translating them into technical solutions in distributed Enterprise environments.

9 years of demonstrated experience working as an engineer in mission critical environments directly supporting integration, security, and management of systems in distributed environments
− Four plus (4+) years of experience applying secure systems and architecture design principals i.e., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST SP 800-53 Security and Privacy Controls for
Information Systems and Organizations, and NIST SP 800-160 Developing Cyber Resilient Systems in support of system accreditation under RMF.
− Four plus (4+) years working with network, server, storage, and
GPU virtualization technologies
− Four plus (4+) years designing and delivering secure Enterprise services in a mixed Microsoft/Linux operating system environment.
− Four plus (4+) years of demonstrated experience implementing and managing a Microsoft based Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)
− Four plus (4+) years of demonstrated experience deploying and leveraging data analytics platforms in support of system performance evaluation, network operations, and security.
− Experience with scripting languages (i.e. PowerShell, Power CLI, JSON, Bash, and Python).
− Industry recognized certification(s) in related technologies such as Security, Microsoft, VMware, Linux etc.
-AND- Shall have upon hire:
Minimum Information Assurance Technician III (IAT III) certification.  The Principal Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer shall maintain certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M continuing education program (CPE) through the Period of Performance of the contract.


Salary Range: $108,600 USD - $163,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
