This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Bethpage, NY.The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Airborne Multifunction Systems (AMS) Systems Engineering, Integration and Test (SEIT) organization   Basic Qualifications: This requisition may be filled at either a level 1 or 2. Basic qualifications for an Associate Radar Systems Engineer Level 1 or a Radar Systems Engineer Level 2.  A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
  • Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution
  • Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science.)
  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile). 
  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Experience in an integration and test environment
  • Experience performing system verification and validation
  • Experience with physics-based model or simulation development
  • Working knowledge of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), tools, techniques, and concepts; e.g., Cameo model development
  • Experience with DOORS requirements management
  • Experience with DoDAF & Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) standards and methods
  • Proficiency with engineering programming languages (e.g., C/C++, MATLAB, Python)
  • Experience with electronic warfare systems
  • Experience with radar systems, particularly: data analysis, requirements analysis, mode design and development and/or signal and data processing.
  • Experience conducting data analysis and formulating conclusions
  • Experience with Agile Development

Salary Range: $65,000 USD - $97,600 USD
Salary Range 2: $78,600 USD - $118,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
