Our Platform Laboratory Systems & Design (PLSD) group is seeking a Manager of Systems Engineering to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals in Oklahoma City, OK.  You will become part of a Northrop Grumman team of professionals who are actively developing Avionics Testing Solutions and Specialized Equipment for the Sentinel (GBSD) platform. These solutions consist of custom-designed mounting fixtures, power distribution systems, cooling solutions, networking, simulator/trainers and harnessing for production and lab systems. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Leads a team of Systems Engineers developing Requirements, Architecture, & Verification activities 

  • Responsible for managing a team of Model Based Systems Engineers to develop the decomposition of functional allocation of product support equipment 

  • Lead the team in utilizing a Model Based Systems Engineering approach in all activities 

  • Primary technical interface with customers, program management, and technical staff 

  • Resolve problems and recommend improvements 

 

Basic Required Qualifications: 

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 5 years of experience OR 3 years experience with a Masters OR 0 years experience with a PhD 

  • Proficient ability to use Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project) 

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, presentation, and critical thinking skills 

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance and specific program access 

  • Engineering experience in a hardware environment 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with the GBSD weapon system, Minute Man III or other ICBM systems  

  • Experience in DOORS and/or Cameo, utilizing a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach 

  • A background in an Agile development environment 

  • Active DoD Secret clearance and / or program SAP clearance 


Salary Range: $121,000 USD - $181,400 USD
Salary Range 2: $0 USD - $151,200 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
