Our Platform Laboratory Systems & Design (PLSD) group is seeking a Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals in Oklahoma City, OK. You will become part of a Northrop Grumman team of professionals who are actively developing Training Systems for the Sentinel (GBSD) platform. These solutions consist of custom-designed operational, maintenance and cyber training systems and platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Creates system requirements and manages requirement changes in the Requirements Management databases using established guidelines.

  • Derive requirements through analysis of high-level requirements and interactions between various technical disciplines.

  • Interface with customers, program management, and technical staff.

  • Resolve problems and recommend improvements.

Basic Qualifications Engineer Systems:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 2 years of engineering experience; or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline.

  • Proficient ability to use Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project).

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, presentation and critical thinking skills.

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance & specific program access.

Basic Qualifications Principal Engineer Systems:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) discipline and 5 years of engineering experience; or 3 years of engineering experience with a Master's degree in STEM discipline.

  • Proficient ability to use Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project).

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, presentation and critical thinking skills.

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret security clearance & specific program access.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in design and operation of training systems and/or simulators.

  • Previous Systems Engineering experience in a hardware environment.

  • Current Active DoD Secret security clearance.

  • Experience with the Minute Man III weapon system or other ICBM systems.

  • Experience in DOORS and/or Cameo, utilizing a Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach.

  • A background in an Agile development environment.


Salary Range: $69,500 USD - $104,300 USD
Salary Range 2: $85,600 USD - $128,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
