Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Principal System Test Engineer.  This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the Sentinel – Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) program.  This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

What You’ll Get To Do: 

Position on the System Test Team to develop system level test and integration activities. Collaborate with other IPTs to define test objectives, verification requirements, data objectives, and verification cases for test activities in the Integration Labs. Candidate will develop system level test information, planning, and verification diagrams using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools/software. Candidate will produce architecture models for the lab environment and test configurations.

Position requires knowledge of system integration and test principles.

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Candidate will be required to prepare and brief leadership on the test and integration between system segments.

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.  

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelors in Science; 3 years with a Masters; 0 years with a PhD.  An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• US Citizenship with an Active Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.

• Experience working in a Modeled Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment using software such as DOORS, CAMEO, UML or SysML…etc

• Experience with Test Plan and Test Procedure Development

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical discipline

• US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification

• Experience performing in a Systems/Systems Test Engineering or related technical discipline and understanding of systems engineering principles and processes which include test requirements, test plan development and integration testing

• Experience with Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) standards and methods

• Experience operating in an Agile environment using any of the Atlassian software tool sets (JIRA, CONFLUENCE…etc)

Salary Range: $82,000 USD - $123,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
