The Sentinel program is seeking a Flight Systems IAT&C Deputy Manager 3 to be located in Roy, UT. The Flight Systems IAT&C Deputy Manager will be responsible to the IAT&C Director for overall test, checkout and delivery of the missile – to include test labs, requirements, test planning, test execution of all assets including, but not limited to, lab assets, product support equipment, ground test missiles and flight test missiles, as well as managing risk and opportunities.  The successful candidate will also be accountable for the earned value cost and schedule of the flight systems team Integrated Product Team (IPT).  This is a down-and-in focused position with up-and-out visibility.

In this position, the Flight Systems IAT&C Deputy Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Integration, Assembly, Test and Checkout – Responsible for the overall test, checkout and delivery of the missile, this includes test plan and execution and requirements verification of Ground Test Missiles and Flight Test Missiles, but also includes, and not limited to, the execution of lab Hardware in the Loop testing and successful design, build and implementation of product support equipment.
• Customer Interface Management – Will be a primary point of contact for internal and USG customer interaction and coordination and a representative of flight systems test team.
• System Architecture and Verification Planning – Oversee the design and development of requirements verification decisions within the system architecture in coordination with systems engineering and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
• Multi-disciplinary Interface Management – Oversee the development of comprehensive design and interface requirements and lead the verification effort, ensuring cross-functional communication.
• Requirements-based Testing and TLYF Management - Ensure program master test plans, integration concepts and integration flows developed by the Integrated Operations Team are constructed in a Test Like You Fly manner and verified.
• Employee Management – Oversee the performance, progression and mentoring of the Integration, Assembly, Test and Checkout engineers on the team.  Authority to manage personnel, direct activities and act as a delegate for IAT&C as approved by the IAT&C Director.
• Risk Management – Facilitate and own the risk management process and review board in coordination with the Missile Integration and Test Director and corresponding Flight Systems Risk Manager.
• Schedule and Cost Reporting Management – Accountable for the flight systems team cost and schedule and support program management reviews.
• Travel – May be required to travel up to 10% of the time.

These positions will have a standard work schedule of 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years’ experience, or Master’s and 6 years’ experience, or in lieu of a degree 4 additional years of experience supporting US Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries.
•Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a formal lead/management position

3 years of experience working with  system integration and test principles and teat plan development at any level of build (unit, sub-system, system, etc.).
• Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance must be held and maintained and the ability to get special program access (PAR).
• US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) discipline and 10 years’ experience, or Master’s and 8 years’ experience, supporting US Government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries. Demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal.

• Knowledge and experience in System Engineering using CAMEO and/or Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Principles.

Demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal.

• Experience using DOORS Requirements Management Database.
• Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret Clearance.

• Previous ICBM Experience is a plus.

Salary Range: $138,400 USD - $207,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
