Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer (T03 level). This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
What You’ll Get To Do:
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for Support Equipment
- Work with Design, Integrated Logistics Support, Specialty Engineering, and project management in development of Support Equipment for mission operational system on the Sentinel program to apply concepts and practices to Support Equipment
- Analysis and perform Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) for Support Equipment Architecture development
- Perform analyses at all levels of product lifecycle to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of experience with Bachelor's degree, 3 years of experience with Master's degree
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
- 1+ years of experience in Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) Tools (Cameo, Magic Draw, Rhapsody or similar)
- 1+ years of experience with Requirements management tools (DOORS, for example)
Preferred Qualifications
- Solid understanding/Experience in System Engineering (SE) process, including SE experience across multiple levels of integration
- Experience with the following tools: CAMEO, DOORS, Confluence, and JIRA
- Experience developing/maintaining Peculiar (PSE) and Common (CSE) Support Equipment
- Experience with Sentinel program
- Experience leading technical teams in large scale aerospace/defense projects
- Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering projects on major defense programs
- Experience with ICBM program

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
