Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking excited candidates to serve as a Requirements, Verification and Interfaces Manager 2 in Roy, UT for the Sentinel Program’s Support and Training Segment.  This individual’s role will focus on providing segment-wide guidance on the development of requirements, interfaces, and verification activities for the support equipment used to maintain the deployment and operational capability of the Sentinel Missile system.  This individual will serve as a critical interface point between systems engineers operating at the highest, weapon-system level, and those working on the design and test of individual pieces of support equipment.  


The selected candidate will have the opportunity to play a part in one of Northrop Grumman’s keystone programs, the Sentinel InterContinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM), a $13 Billion effort to modernize a key component of our nation’s defense.  This role is required throughout the Engineering Manufacturing and Development (EMD) phase of the Sentinel program which is expected to last through CY2028.  The individual will play a key role in all phases of support equipment lifecycle, beginning with requirements decomposition and lasting through the handoff of requirements verification testing to the integration and test engineers. The ideal candidate for this management-level position will be a strong communicator, have an aptitude for leading teams, and possess demonstrated systems engineering expertise in the areas of both requirements and interface development.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.


Basic Qualifications:
•   Bachelor and 6 years of systems engineering experience

•   At least 1 year of experience leading projects or cross functional team
•    Active DoD Secret Clearance investigated within the last 6 years
•    2 years of experience working with requirements, verification, and or interface development

Preferred Qualifications:
•    Active DOD Top Secret Clearance
•    Demonstrated experience with system integration and test principles and processes

•    Solid understanding of the Systems Engineering process
•    Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
•    Flight Test Instrumentation development, design, fabrication and test experience
•    RCC-319/324 Test Experience. 
•    Understanding of Northrop Grumman test processes and tools
•    Prior experience test planning for a missile program or military aircraft program
•    Travel is expected up to 10% of the time to support test planning and execution activities.
•    Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management


 


Salary Range: $127,700 USD - $191,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
