Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is looking for Staff Structural Analysis Engineer with ASIP program experience to join our team on the B-21 program in Melbourne, Florida. In this role, you will implement an IAT program on a fleet of advanced aircraft. CURRENT CLEARANCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinates activities with the customer and internal technical disciplines to satisfy program requirements in accordance with MIL-STD-1530C

  • Updates/maintains the ASIP Master Plan

  • Implements an Individual Aircraft Tracking (IAT) on a fleet of advanced aircraft that includes both metals and composites

  • Oversees development and implementation of Structural Maintenance Plans

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in a relevant Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline and 14+ years relevant experience; OR MS in a relevant STEM discipline and 12+ years relevant experience; OR Ph.D. in a relevant STEM discipline and 9+ years relevant experience

  • Experience with aerospace structural analysis

  • Experience on a developmental Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) program

  • Experience developing an Individual Aircraft Tracking program

  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret and Special Access Program (SAP) clearances prior to start

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current, in-scope DoD Secret (or higher) clearance

  • Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Structural Engineering

  • Airframe experience with Advanced Composite Materials

  • A strong background in metallic and composite DaDT analysis and testing

  • Experience in certification and sustainment

  • Proficiency with the USAF damage tolerance tool AFGROW

  • Able to effectively collaborate in a team environment

  • Able to effectively prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks to meet project needs

  • Able to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions

  • Experience leading a project or team

Salary Range: $139,000 USD - $208,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
