Northrop Grumman is seeking a Facilities Technician to work second shift and weekends in our Gilbert, AZ location. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
- Perform routine maintenance in plant and office buildings
- Experience in one or more of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical, machine and equipment repair. Electrical experience is preferred
- Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment
- Use hand and power tools to include Metering knowledge
- Test, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment
- Set up and tear down conference rooms for meetings
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years experience
- 2nd shift requirement - Must be willing to work evening (2nd) shift and weekends (12 hour night shifts (9p-9a) or 9/80 shifts 9p-6a)
- 3rd shift requirement - Must be willing to work night shift and weekends (12 hour night shifts (6p-6a) or 9/80 shifts 9p-6a)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with commercial facilities maintenance
- Willing to be a member of the site ERT team
