Job Description

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems Sector is seeking an Associate Property/Asset Management Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.

The selected candidate will oversee, manage and analyze activities associated with asset business systems to ensure company, customer and US Government property located on site and at subcontractors are managed in accordance with applicable regulations and policies to achieve best value and operational excellence. Maintains property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment. Conduct internal and external property assessments and analyze results for financial and operational purposes; provide guidance on contracts and regulations pertaining to property life-cycle management; develop, recommend, and implement property management policy; and prepare periodic and special purpose reports relative to matters such as taxes, leasing, insurance, facility usage, etc.

This position standard work schedule is a 3/10 1st shift Friday-Sunday

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree with 0 years of experience OR High school diploma/GED with 4 years of experience in inventory control/management operations
• A current and active DoD Secret security clearance with a periodic re-investigation OR an original adjudication date completed within the last 5 years
• The ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access prior to starting
• Ability to frequently move and position/reposition objects weighing up to 50lbs
• Valid California State Driver’s License
• Willingness to change physical work locations based on operational need

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in inventory control/management operation
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong interpersonal, relationship building skills
• Aerospace and Defense industry experience
• High level of computer and automated systems’ experience
• Microsoft Office knowledge
• Ibuy/SAP knowledge
• Chemical Tracking System knowledge (CTS)
• Basic knowledge of capital property practices
• Forklift Certified

Salary Range: $51,200 USD - $76,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
