In this role you will:

  • Manage direct report staff of exempt and Union workers
  • Oversee the enterprise facilities risk assessment process for the Elk River Facility
  • Create the Site Infrastructure Preventative and Corrective Action Program
  • Partner with internal and external customers, management, and organization stakeholders to identify and prioritize key opportunities for strategic investment to reduce infrastructure risk to employees and critical hardware
  • Obtain and interpret program and functional organization facilities infrastructure requirements
  • Partner with Facilities Integration Leads to develop and recommend long-range plans to meet future site infrastructure needs and submit inputs to the site Long Range Strategic Plan (LRSP)
  • Partner with Facilities Project team to ensure infrastructure-related projects comply with standards and specifications and commissioning activities accurately demonstrate new-equipment capabilities and compliance with design intent
  • Formulate, recommend, and ensure compliance with approved standards and policies relating to site infrastructure, including site-specific and government requirements
  • Develop the annual Enterprise Infrastructure Risk Assessment for Elk River Facility
  • Forecast, reconcile and prioritize required investments based on risk in the LRSP

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, and/or other related field with seven (7) Years of related experience; OR a master’s degree with five (5) years of related experience
  • 5 Years of experience successfully managing and leading teams
  • Experience with Facilities Management Systems (i.e. - IBM MAXIMO, AutoCAD).
  • Experience developing Risk / Opportunity Business Cases
  • Experience leading Commissioning Activities for facilities projects
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio)
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Department of Defense Top Secret and SCI Clearances

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to attract, retain and develop talent and create an inclusive culture and build an engaged workforce
  • Defense industry, large site, multi-building facilities management experience
  • Knowledge in "Classified" building facilities infrastructure
  • Experience with building management systems
  • Experience with business management systems, such as Costpoint, Concur, Microsoft365
  • Experience in developing and presenting executive level briefings
  • Experience leading construction projects
  • Possesses active U.S. Government Department of Defense Secret Clearance


Salary Range: $107,000 USD - $160,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
