Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is currently seeking a Manager Property Asset Management 2 to assist with all business activities associated with several rapidly growing programs. This position reports to the Armament Systems Business Unit (BU) Director of Contracts/Property Asset Management to establish strategy, prioritize requirements, and achieve financial goals while ensuring the integrity of business processes. This position is located in Plymouth, MN though the selected candidate may also work virtually as a full-time teleworker.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Knowledge of the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) modules to include WAWF (Wide Area Workflow), Government Furnished Property, Item Unique Identifier and Electronic Data Access

  • Understand AssetSmart and Custodian Certification

  • Ensure compliance with Packing Slips and Shippers (i.e., DD1149 forms used to move property from one facility to another)

  • Interface with internal/external auditors and verify our records are up to date and capture the movement of Government assets

Basic Qualifications for Property Manager 2:

  • This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider one of following: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with at least 10 years of Property Asset Management related experience, 8 years of Property Asset Management related experience with Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree with 6 years of Property Asset Management related experience

  • 2+ years of management experience and demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop talent

  • Prior experience with DoD Contract/Sub-contracts

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPPS (Certified Professional Property Specialist) certification

  • Familiarity with Costpoint

  • 2+ years of management experience and demonstrated ability to lead teams and develop talent

  • Experience conducting property management monthly trainings, providing career development for a team of property specialists, and responding to frequently asked questions regarding Government Property

  • DoD Contract/Sub-contracts experience


Salary Range: $106,000 USD - $166,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
