Associate Prop/Asset Management Analyst (Government and Capital)

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for either a Level 1 Property/Asset Management Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The selected candidate will coordinate property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government, associate contractor, and company property in accordance with applicable government regulations and/or corporate policy. This position will be located on site in Palmdale, CA with partial telework available.

Essential Functions:

• Oversee, manage and analyze activities associated with asset business systems to ensure company, customer and US Government property located on site and at subcontractors are managed in accordance with applicable regulations and policies to achieve best value and operational excellence

• Maintain property accountability records and determines condition and arranges disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment

• Conduct internal and external property assessments and analyze results for financial and operational purposes

• Provide guidance on contracts and regulations pertaining to property life-cycle management

• Develop, recommend, and implement property management policy

• Prepare periodic and special purpose reports

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or High School Diploma and 4 years of relevant experience

• Experience with MS Office including PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook

• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• DoD Top Secret Clearance and Special Program Access

• National Property Management Association Certifications (CPPS, CPPA, CPPM)

• Ability to interpret and formulate independent judgment based on federal regulations - Federal Acquisition Regulation 52.245-1 and applicable Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations

Salary Range: $60,800 USD - $64,000 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
