Northrop Grumman Marine Systems is the U.S. Navy's trusted partner providing quiet propulsion and power generation machinery and submarine missile launch systems. We have over 65 years of experience and unique manufacturing capabilities critical to the U.S. submarine and aircraft carrier shipbuilding Industrial Base.

Marine Systems has an opening for a Property/Asset Management Analyst 2 or 3, to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at our Sunnyvale, California facility.

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing management systems, policies and procedures to ensure continuous contractual

  • accountability of government, customer and company assets at ours and our suppliers’ sites

  • Conducting property surveillance reviews

  • Assisting in Contractor Self-Assessment (CSA) reviews

  • Collaborating and interfacing with various internal and external customers, to ensure accountability of

  • assets is maintained

  • Assisting other team members, as necessary

This requisition may be filled at a higher grade based on the requirements below.

Basic Qualifications:

Property Asset Management Analyst (level 2):

  • A Bachelor's degree with 3+ years or experience or a Masters degree with 1 + yrs of experience or we will consider a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in asset management lifecycle outcomes (i.e., acquisition, shipping/receiving, physical inventory, record keeping, reports, maintenance, disposition)

  • Strong PC skills, especially Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

  • Ability to lift 40-50 lbs

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as needed

Principal Property Asset Management Analyst (level 3):

  • A Bachelor's degree with 6+ years or experience or a Masters degree with 4+ yrs of experience or we will consider a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in asset management lifecycle outcomes (i.e., acquisition, shipping/receiving, physical inventory, record

  • Strong PC skills, especially Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

  • Ability to lift 40-50 lbs

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance as needed

Preferred Qualifications for both:

  • FAR/DFARS regulation knowledge or experience

  • SAP experience

  • GOLDesp (asset management application) experience

  • Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) experience

  • Government Contracts knowledge or experience


Salary Range: $63,800 USD - $95,800 USD
Salary Range 2: $78,500 USD - $117,700 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
