Associate Planning & Scheduler/Supply Chain Planning Specialist Level 1/2

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Planning & Scheduler/Supply Chain Planning Specialist Level 1/2. This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Melbourne, FL.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Global Supply Chain Business Unit. This position requires you to be onsite full-time.

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Planning Specialist within the Engineering Property System (EPS) organization, to join our growing and high-performing support team. The ideal candidate will be able to manage multiple competing priorities while ensuring accurate and efficient execution. As a procurement liaison the ability to work independently and consistently collaborate effectively with cross functional teams will be paramount to success. This individual will be responsible for developing sourcing solutions and meeting the fabrication schedules of lab projects for the program. Effective communication with Program Management, GSC counterparts, engineers, business management and project management is required. The candidate will support a team-based organization and perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including but not limited to strategic analysis, full life cycle material planning and excellent internal customer service.

Basic Qualifications Associate Planning & Scheduler: A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Be majoring in or having majored in a Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field degree.
• Must be proficient within all Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Intermediate Excel skills Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; ability to present status and actions to internal functions
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

• Be majoring in or having majored in a Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field degree.
• Must be proficient within all Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook)
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; ability to present status and actions to internal functions
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite). Preferred Qualifications for both an Associate Planning & Scheduler/Supply Chain Planning Specialist Level 1/2

• Active DoD Secret clearance with a refresh/update within the last 6 years
• Knowledge of FAR 52.245-1 specific to government property accountability
• Familiar with SAP business system to view the details of purchase orders, invoices, and goods receipts
• Experience working with Engineering on advance procurement planning
• Experience hosting meetings up to senior management level providing part shortages and identifying roadblocks, and finding solutions to mitigate
• Ability to successfully perform and pivot in a robust engineering test environment
• Capability to build BOMs from engineering drawings
• Demonstrated capability and proven success in problem solving

Pay Range

• Associate Planning & Scheduler: $52,800 – $79,200
• Supply Chain Planning Specialist: $63,800 – $95,800
