Our Propulsion Systems division in Northrop Grumman’s Space sector is seeking a Material Analyst to join our growing team in Promontory, Utah.

 

·         Perform activities in a variety of cross-functional areas including materials planning, total quality management, procurement, supplier quality assurance, finance, materials systems, customer service, etc.

·         The incumbent may facilitate self-directed work teams, provide training in core skill areas to teams and peers, and interact with internal customers and suppliers with respect to product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement

·         Incumbent must be experienced in one or more areas of the material function

·         Control the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements

·         Compile and maintain material and parts inventory and status information to expedite movement of material and parts between production areas, according to predetermined production schedules and order priorities

·         Assist with Equipment Control, Disposition, and Calibration

·         Perform physical count, cycle count and periodic material inventory verification

·         Facilitate return of merchandise authorizations from focalized users to Global Supply Chain POC's

·         Record and maintain inventory of quantity and type of materials and parts received, stocked, and distributed, manually or using computer

·         Expedite or delegate critical material (Requisition creation, Po-issuance, Delivery and Receipts internal material movement)

Basic Qualifications:

·         Bachelor degree and 4 years of experience in Procurement and/or Property Management

·         Experience working with Hardware Databases and Tools

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

·         Proficient in SAP

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Master’s Degree and 1 Year of experience in Procurement and/or Property Management

·         Working Knowledge of FARS/DFARS

·         Experience working with DCMA

·         Experience with AssetSmart

·         Active Security Clearance

This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. 


Salary Range: $60,600 USD - $90,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
