Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Supply Chain Planning Analyst for our Roy, UT location.

Candidate oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Duties will include:

  • Works closely with Program Management and Supply Chain Management to ensure supplier quotes comply with requirements.
  • Receives/reviews requirements for non-standard part, projects and services.
  • Researches and critically analyzes large volumes of data using spreadsheet and data mining skills to isolate and prioritize key data.
  • Summarizes and presents detailed information in internal management reviews and customer fact-finding meetings.

Candidate must be:

  • Highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated with demonstrated abilities to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; ability to present concepts and recommendations to all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically, solve problems and convert complex data to actionable information.
  • Detail oriented, but able to understand the big picture.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or business/project management. Or in lieu of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, or business/project management.
  • Proficiency using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience in Aerospace & Defense
  • Experience with FAR/DFARS
  • Prior work experience with SAP
  • Master’s Degree in related field
  • Active Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $92,400 USD - $138,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
