Northrop Grumman Space Systems is seeking an experienced professional for the position of Material Requirements Planning Analyst. This position will be fully engaged with the GSC team and other functions to develop, implement, and operate an integrated Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system within the Division.  As part of the Global Supply Chain function our team enjoys a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaboration across all levels. 

Duties will include:

  • Enter material requirement requisitions in the ERP system signaling procurement activities and track deliveries to ensure support of production schedules
  • Extract and analyze data for decision making using existing reporting tools
  • Coordinate with other departments as required to ensure material availability
  • Team player with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Communicate relevant information both up and down the functional organization
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and self-motivated with demonstrated abilities to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to think analytically, solve problems and convert complex data to actionable information
  • Make recommendation for and work with developers on new reports to support MRP implementation and maintenance
  • Detail oriented, but able to understand the big picture
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Develop collaborative relationships with functional stakeholders to achieve scheduling culture change
  • Work on special projects, as necessary

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience in procurement, buyer, scheduling or material requirements planning. Or in lieu of a degree, 10 years of relevant experience in procurement, buyer, scheduling or material requirements planning.
  • Experience with operation of ERP and MRP systems in aerospace manufacturing and/or supply chain
  • Proficiency using MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior work experience in Aerospace & Defense
  • Experience with FAR/DFARS
  • Prior work experience with MRP in SAP
  • ASCM Certification
  • Master’s Degree in related field
  • Active Secret Clearance

Salary Range: $67,800 USD - $101,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
