·       Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for a highly motivated Supply Chain Planning Analyst (SCPA) to join its team of qualified, dedicated, and diverse professionals. The successful candidate will define and develop material strategy to meet manufacturing and quality requirements for various programs. Duties will include: Responsibility for the assessment of supply resources; aggregating and prioritizing demand requirements; and evaluating production, material and rough-cut capacity for all products. He/she will participate in make/buy process, long-term capacity and resource planning; product phase-in/phase-out, manufacturing ramp-up, end-of-life management and product-line management. Utilizing MRP tools, the successful candidate will analyze supply / demand requirements, monitor inventory levels based on dependent and independent Bill-of-Materials (BOM) requirements, and help maintain accurate material lead times. A key element of this position is the ability to communicate effectively with multiple functional areas, such as Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Program Management. This includes oral and written presentations. This individual will also work with suppliers to ensure on time delivery at required quality levels for critical component material. The ability to collaborate with multiple functions and persons is essential. This position is a dynamic and vital job within the Northrop Grumman organization. Position will be Onsite located in Salt Lake City, Utah

Basic qualifications (Level 2)

  • Bachelor's Degree 3+ years or a master's degree with 1+ years of relevant experience in either supply chain, business management or closely related
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance

Basic qualifications (Level 3)

  • Bachelor's Degree 6+ years or a master's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience in either supply chain, business management or closely related
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project)
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • APICS or ISM Certification in Supply Chain Management bachelor's degree in business with Supply Chain Management emphasis
  • Work experience in an Aerospace manufacturing environment


Salary Range: $60,600 USD - $90,800 USD
Salary Range 2: $74,600 USD - $111,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
