Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Supply Chain Technical Coordinator 2 or 3 (Clearance Required) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA.

  • 2nd shift, 3/10 schedule Friday - Sunday
  • Position is onsite, unable to accommodate a telecommute/hybrid schedule.

Essential Functions:

  • Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process
  • Provides technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations
  • Primarily responsible for the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials
  • Loads, unloads, and conveys materials and parts to multiple work sites, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving
  • Opens containers using hand tools and counts and weighs materials and records information
  • Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand
  • Works closely with the integration team and shop floor
  • Delivers kits and chemicals and verifies quantities and part numbers
  • Wraps and packs kits to send to on and offsite locations
  • Operate company-owned vehicles to execute pick-up and delivery of parts between Northrop Grumman sites/buildings, and offsite locations at times.

Basic Qualifications (Level 2):

  • High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of additional education and/or experience in logistics support, shipping/receiving, manufacturing shop floor, warehousing, and/or inventory control
  • Ability to obtain a forklift certification
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods of time
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive company-owned vehicles (potentially in the dark at times)
  • Active DOD Secret Clearance with investigation completed in the last 5 years (to apply/start) with the ability to obtain and maintain a Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs (after starting)

  • High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional education and/or experience in logistics support, shipping/receiving, manufacturing shop floor, warehousing, and/or inventory control
  • Ability to obtain a forklift certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience using a forklift/reach lift/pallet jack
  • Prior experience using SAP/MES
  • NGC manufacturing shop floor experience
  • Ability to work overtime as needed to support the business

Salary Range: $43,600 USD - $72,600 USD
Salary Range 2: $51,800 USD - $86,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
