If you are interested in becoming part of the Space Division team, we have an opening for a Global Supply Chain Program Manager Level 2 for our Redondo Beach, CA location. Role reports to a Director, Global Supply Chain Programs, within the Strategic Space Systems Division (SSSD). 

This position requires the incumbent to possess an active SCI/SSBI clearance.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Supporting Frontend Program Activities; provide GSC inputs to program proposal activities including ECPs, NTEs, BPEs, and REAs
  • Helps to create and mature acquisition plan using:
    • Set-Back Schedules based on Required On Dock Dates (RODD)
    • Look at risk factors (industry knowledge, Supplier Management ratings (SAMS/Scorecards), Commodity Engineering capacity reports etc.) to identify acquisition risks and effectively bring those to the appropriate levels of attention via the Risk/Opportunity process
    • Help develop “no kidding” design freeze date cutoffs in order to account for GSC acquisition span times (supplier and GSC processing)
  • Effectively tracking and managing material through the GSC processes; presentations and concise reporting/tracking of issues to IPTs & Program Office
  • Support Project reviews, risk mitigation, parts obsolescence, Material status, IPT reviews, Configuration Change Board support etc.
  • Problem solver that effectively works with cross functional/org teams
  • Experienced in dynamic environments where there may have been schedule changes, part failures, design changes, testing failures etc.
  • Support Control Account Managers

Basic Qualifications:

  • An active SCI/SSBI clearance required
  • Self-motivated/proactive, organized, responsive, reliable, flexible, and detail-oriented
  • Desire to work cooperatively within a team of other senior GSCPMs and contribute
  • Ability to develop, utilize, and apply data analytic tools (e.g. Tableau)
  • Basic knowledge & familiarity with SAP
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of Project Management, Supply Chain, or Engineering experience or Master's Degree and 6 years of Project Management, Supply Chain, or Engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in SAP
  • Experience supporting large & unique aerospace programs
  • Demonstrated flexibility and agility, prioritizing multiple tasks with competing deadlines
  • Experience and/or familiarity with key Northrop Grumman GSC functions including Advanced Planning (AP), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and Parts Management Integration (PMI)

Salary Range: $134,600 USD - $201,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
