Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Supply Chain Programs 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located onsite in San Diego or Palmdale, California. The candidate will act as the Primary Material CAM for a large business area and manage a team of six work package managers with the goal of optimizing Material EAC accuracy for the program. This manager will be responsible for setting and operating to objectives and providing mentorship to subordinates based on goals, objectives and company policy.

Essential Functions:

Responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, and execution of all material and services content for a Program or collection of Programs. Acts as the main focal point for the Program Management Office (PMO) for Material CAM duties and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that all supply chain commitments are met, and that appropriate mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers. Ensures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategies. Is accountable for resource planning, material cost, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolution. Briefs the PMO and executive management on the status and issues affecting Program cost and schedule performance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree + 10 years' experience or Master's Degree + 8 years' experience
• CAM Certification and Working knowledge of EVMS
• Experience in Supply Chain Management
• Experience in Project or Program Management
• Active Secret Clearance (Investigated within the last 5 years)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active AP-418 Program Access
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Working SAP knowledge/experience
• High competency in Microsoft Excel

This position reports to San Diego, CA, USA, however, this position can also be worked from Palmdale, CA, CA, USA.

Salary Range: $134,600 USD - $201,800 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
